I am captivated by all the connections between native flora and fauna in our unique ecosystems, and I am deeply passionate about protecting native species by removing threats and pests in an ethical and effective manner.

Before I joined Boffa Miskell, I worked for Pest Free Kaipātiki across a multitude of projects improving conservation and predator control in local reserves. I also worked as a Zoology, Ecology & Conservation Technician at Massey University, assisting in lab and field work for undergraduate teaching and postgraduate research. I completed my Master's degree researching the genetics and morphology of a rare native plant (Streblus banksii), and applying these findings to improving conservation outcomes. During my BSc I also worked with DOC on a research scholarship looking at monitoring techniques for Archey’s Frogs.

Whilst I am new to Boffa Miskell, I look forward to applying and expanding my skill set and experience in biosecurity and ecological assessments and becoming an established team member.
