Across the national communications team, our individual responsibilities are often interlinked and I love the way our team supports each other to accomplish not only the 'big wins', but also in overcoming the occasional challenge. Alongside our shared work, my day-to-day responsibilities focus on internal communications and helping our consultants communicate what they're good at. This involves:

  • Looking after our intranet by keeping it current, creating useful and engaging content, and supporting other content creators across our organisation. I like sharing news to keep our people informed about what is happening throughout the organisation and discovering various ways we can use technology to engage with our people nationwide.
  • Co-ordinating our annual research programme. It's great to see our consultants pursuing research into topics they are super-passionate about, and it's interesting to hear the wins and challenges along the way.
  • Providing guidance to our consultants on producing CVs, assisting project managers to create client-centric capability statements and helping out with proposals/bids, which highlight what we can do to help our clients achieve their goals.

I joined Boffa Miskell in 2014 after several years working for UK Trade & Investment. In this position, I was fortunate in being exposed to the implementation of marketing campaigns in a global context, while learning from some fascinating people.

Since becoming a mum, Boffa Miskell has enabled me to work part-time/school hours so I can still look after my small children, which is awesome!
