Greg Wilson

Kaiwhakamahere | Planner
Pouwhiri Matua | Senior Principal

I am a statutory and environmental planner with a background in earth sciences. I have extensive experience in land use planning, stakeholder management and environmental assessments undertaken for local government, private consultancies and Australian State Government Agencies. I have planning management experience for District Planning in New Zealand both at multidisciplinary consultancies and development companies.

My project work includes assessing development impacts for major infrastructure projects, and residential and commercial developments, and preparing and implementing strategies for public participation, both statutory and non-statutory, for development proposals. I have processed consent applications, prepared plan changes, and policy reviews and managed district plan teams.

My experience has equipped me with an acute understanding of project management and strategic planning, allowing me to drive successful and innovative plan-making campaigns and collaborative planning processes.

I have the experience, aptitude and skills necessary to respond to the highly evolving set of planning and policy challenges being expressed through the country and my work with Boffa Miskell allows me to work collaboratively to deliver effective planning outcomes.
