I have a keen interest in marine, lizard, and bat ecology. I completed a BSc Double Major in Oceanography and Geology with the University of Otago.

I began my career on a remote large-scale construction project, which offered experience facilitating management plans across terrestrial and freshwater ecology. My work involved bat roost identification and monitoring, Kiwi radio tracking, search assistance and handling, lizard and peripatus salvage and relocation, vegetation assessments, and monthly and annual compliance reporting preparation.

Further bat training has provided me with experience in harp trap deployment, radio tracking, bat capture, handling, and tagging. In 2024, I volunteered for the Australian Museum, spending two weeks in New South Wales weighing, measuring, PIT tagging, and swabbing frogs for chytrid fungus, recording population numbers and movement following wildfires, and collecting toe-tip tissue samples for species analysis.

My focus will be on building my lizard and bat ecology experience. With my passion for the marine world, I hope to assist with marine ecology projects. As a graduate with experience across lizards, bats, frogs, peripatus, and vegetation ecology, I will have the opportunity to provide field support across a range of projects.
