President's Award winners at the 2025 Wānanga of Tuia Pito Ora | New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects

Three Boffa Miskell landscape architects were recognised for their contributions to the Institute and the profession.

The NZILA President's Awards celebrate contributors to the numerous facets of the profession and the Institute. Recipients are those who have engaged with a wide range of issues, or who have worked diligently to provide benefits to and for the greater good of the profession.
Megan Harshey was recognised for her contribution to the Continuing Professional Development Working Group and her role of CPD Registrar. Megan has been an active member of the NZILA Southern Branch for many years, and also served on the National Executive Committee from 2019 - 2023.
Rhys Girvan was awarded in recognition of his contribution to the NZILA Environmental Legislation Committee, and in leading the Institute's review of the New Zealand Coastal Policy Statement (2010).
Julia Wick was recognised for her outstanding leadership and governance. Julia has served both the local Auckland Branch and the National Executive Committee for many years. Her roles have included NZILA vice president and Awards portfolio holder, a member of the Accreditation Panel, and a member of the NZILA Board from 2023 - 2024.
